As the first Chinese restaurant in Rochester, Wong's Café is a family-run business. The current owner was the head chef of the original establishment so that all of the traditional recipes have remained the same. Wong's Café was established in 1952. Our team has been together for nearly a decade. We've all been in the restaurant since it reopened in Hillcrest Shopping Center which is where we moved from to our new location in Rochester. Take-out and eat-in services are available. No delivery.
Wong's Café has been a family dining tradition since 1952. Neil, Ben, Poya and Mae Wong opened for business at 20 Third Street Southwest because of the community and its people.
Now, we pass the Wong tradition to Phala Nhean who is the new owner at our new location. Phala is a past employee with 24 years of experience as head chef. We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us.
